Nanaimo Unique Kids Organization (NUKO) is a registered non-profit organization in Nanaimo formed by a group of parents of children with neuro-developmental disabilities like ASD, autism spectrum, OCD, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, TS, Tourettes Syndrome and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.
As caring parents of children with special needs, we wanted our children to do more than survive in the school system. We pooled our resources and created an alternate day program using home school curriculum and resources to meet each child's unique needs.
***The Nanaimo Unique Kids Survey Project has released it's first surveys to the public.***
